Floyd Matcham is an established landscape consultancy operating from offices at Basingstoke in Hampshire and Sturminster Newton in Dorset. The practice is registered with the landscape institute and undertakes commissions throughout the country. The professional team of landscape architects is led by Graham Floyd and Paul Matcham who jointly established the business in 1993.

The practice undertakes a wide range of work for clients in both the private and public sectors, including landscape appraisal, environmental impact assessment, local plan promotion, landscape design and implementation and landscape management.

The practice also specialises in both design and planning-related work and advises clients in relation to the landscape impact of new schemes and their acceptability within local and structure plan landscape policies. The practice regularly presents expert evidence at public inquiries and informal hearings usually as part of a professional project team.

Job functions, production of information and presentation drawings use both traditional and computer-based methods. The latter includes the use of digital survey data input, Keyplanting and Photoshop software, and colour scanning plotting and printing.
